About Me
I have recently graduated from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, with a bachelors degree in Journalism and I hope to become a sports broadcaster.
I was born in London, England. From an early age, I was surrounded by sports. My parents took me to see professional football games when I was not even a year old. My favorite team was always Chelsea. I had no choice in the matter. My parents love the team so much that they made Chelsea my middle name. As if that weren’t enough, they gave my younger sister the same middle name. That’s dedication for your team!
As a kid, all I wanted to do was go outside and run and run and run. By the age of 6, I was playing tennis. My family encouraged me to get involved in sports. I didn’t find out until I was about 9 that my dad had played tennis when he was younger. Years later, he was my coach.
I decided to attend Flagler after the college offered me a tennis scholarship. I was a member of the tennis team, the Saints.
I am currently seeking a broadcasting/journalism job in England.
I love sports and was interested in little else while I was growing up in London. Whenever I turned on the television, I’d watch Sky Sports News or BBC or ITV. I saw the sports broadcasters in action and decided that I wanted to get into sports journalism one day.

Work Experience
June 2017 - Present
The Bun Penny - Front of house supervisor
I work as front of house supervisor. My day begins by opening the pub so that it is ready for when customers arrive. I must make sure tills are ready, emails are checked, music is on, beer taps are clean and put back on. I discuss the specials menu with the chef and ensure it is typed and printed. Tables are all set up for afternoon and evening service. I ensure my team are aware of daily bookings and are ready for a day of serving behind the bar or in the restaurant. I run the restaurant until end of service when I then cash up in the office and lock up.
September 2017 - Present
College Sports America - Recruiter
I work as a tennis recruiter helping players across the UK earn sports scholarships in America. I have set up my own Facebook and email account to contact players in the UK and offer help and advice to get them started. I attend tournaments with a colleague to talk face to face with players. Following my own personal experience I take great pride in seeing someone achieve their goals and to put a smile on their face.

FootyBlog - Writer (Internship)
I wrote blogs daily about football for publication on the website, to an audience of 1800 people. This was a great example of working independently in a fast-paced environment as my work needed to be relevant to current issues.
